The Mirror

Depression felt like home and happiness was a place to visit
Faith and hope were mere words
"Dreams come true" was a fairy-tales
And destiny was just a myth to her

She saw a reflection of herself in everyone's eyes
As a failure
All she needed was a better image of herself
To her, death was the only survival

A seed grown into a flower
A stone that's rising, getting stronger every hour
A train that's moving, picking up speed everyday,
was her reflection in His eyes

As she beheld the reflection in his eyes
Hope shivers down her spine
Her clouded mind crystallizes
A new journey begins.
